Rameet Arora of HT as Program Chair, Sanjay Behl of Raymond to Chair the Grand Jury
For the past 90 years, the International ECHO Awards have recognized the best campaigns in data-inspired marketing around the world. Now, for the first time, these storied awards will be administered by the ANA. The new ANA International ECHO Award now have 37 categories, 2 rounds of judging and over 400 jurors. The ANA International ECHO Awards celebrate exceptional data-inspired strategy, creativity, and results.

Like every year the DMAi has put together a robust Program Council & Grand Jury for conducting these awards. The new Key appointments for this year are Rameet Arora of Hindustan Times Digital as the program chair. The Grand Jury Chair for the 2019 edition will be Sanjay Behl of Raymond.

As an entrant to the DMA ASIA ECHO® Awards, presented by the DMAi CREATEFFECT Awards, entrants get deeply subsided entry fees, extended deadlines, and fast track to the ANA International ECHO® Awards to the final round for the eligible local & regional winners.
Speaking on his appointment as Program Council Chair - Rameet Arora, COO at Hindustan Times Digital Streams said : “I’m glad to be associated with an award programme that rewards both creativity and effectiveness. The call for entries is underway. Regular entries will be accepted until Friday, 30th August. A short window of Rush Entries has been enabled till Friday 6th September.
On assuming duties for Grand Jury Chair for the program, Sanjay Behl of Raymond said “I am delighted to lead this year's journey at a credible and purposeful platform to adjudicate awards in this year’s edition. 100+ jurors comprising of senior CxO’s, CMOs & Agency Leaders have volunteered to support the judging process. Brands that have delivered outstandingly well on the combined parameters of Strategy, Creativity & Results will have their work reviewed by highly respected names in business that comprise of the Grand Jury. ”
The judging commences from 9th September and will be underway till 18th September. Ahmed Aftab Naqvi, CEO & Found Gozoop and member of the 2019 DMA ASIA ECHO awards program council will be hosting over 50 jurors over 2 days for the ranking rounds at the Gozoop office at Mumbai Andheri. The Grand Jury meet will be held on 18th September at the ITC Maratha. The winners will be honoured at a glittering gala on Tuesday, 24th September at the 9th DMA Annual & Awards, Hyatt Regency, Mumbai
Since inception of these awards locally OgilvyOne retained the agency of the year crown, In 2018 ISOBAR was adjudged the Agency of the Year and Godrej CP was the client of the year. Every year are over 450+ entries that are received from over 100+ Brands & 65 agencies. In addition to recognition at the 37 categories, Entrants have opportunity to shine at the 9 Special category awards. Further, Eligible winners will be fast tracked to the International advanced Round without any further fee payment. In 2018, India had 14 recognitions at the International ECHO. For 2019, Judging takes place in New York from Nov 12-14. The winners will be honoured at the ANA International Annual scheduled in Orlando in March 2020.
