The same is now live on Think With Google. This Leader board showcases the top ads that women chose to watch. LG’s Astronaut Video, which was rolled out on the occasion of LG India's completion of 20 year-long journey in India, brilliantly showcased the essence of “Life’s Good’’ with LG products. Proving to be the leader on YouTube ads this time, has once again highlighted how the brand has touched millions of hearts across the length and breadth of the country, particularly womenfolk, who are a loyal consumer base for LG.
The digital video was aimed to felicitate the bond LG shares with its consumers. The video tells the tale of every Indian home, particularly the journey of every Indian woman, who makes great sacrifices for her family and children, and how LG products are an integral part of her journey. LG’s 20-year journey in India has been told through an inspiring story of a single mom and her daughter, who goes on to become an astronaut. It traces the journey of this girl who dreams to reach for the stars, idolising Indian astronaut, Kalpana Chawla, on LG’s Golden Eye TV and symbolising Indian sentiment of how home products are treasures of life for them, just like money or gold and how the little girl's journey starts with and because of LG TV. As they move forth in their journey, they realize that LG’s presence is always a part of their surroundings. The little girl goes on to become an astronaut, just like her idol. While she undergoes rigorous training, she is always surrounded by LG’s wide range of products for her comfort and care. The commercial ends with the girl, who is now grown up and an astronaut, gifting a brand-new LG OLED TV to her mother as a gesture for her sacrifices. With this story, LG salutes the spirit of every Indian woman, who doesn’t stop from giving the best to her loved ones.
