Increasingly focuses on driving methodologies to link the corporate reputation chain
Impact PR, one of the fastest growing full service communications consultancies, today announced the appointment of Prabhat Bhattacharya as its Chief Operating Officer. Impact has been operating within India’s communications landscape for almost 2 decades with a wide cross-section of organisations in telling immersive stories and shaping brand identities. The role of the Chief Operating Officer has been created with the aim to link the corporate reputation chain, which most agencies profess, but rarely put in practice.
Prabhat has been part of the PR and communication industry in India for over 18 years with extensive agency and in-house experiences. He has worked in large cross-cultural and cross-functional global teams delivering on business, customers’, employees’ and partners’ priorities and having held several leadership positions spanning sectors such as FMCGs, BFSI, Manufacturing and industry associations. He has managed the communications functions at Sandvik India, FICCI, Kotak Life Insurance, Tata Capital, SBI Card and on the agency side; he has worked with clients like Coca Cola, General Motors, Yamaha Motors, OYO, Schneider Electric amongst other mandates.
Commenting on Prabhat’s appointment, Kulpreet Freddy Vesuna, Founder and Managing Director, Impact PR said, “Today, corporations operate in an exciting and growing matrix of consumers and stakeholders, shaping and co-creating stories in micro moments. Building and creating brands in these challenging times reinforces the belief with which Impact started almost 2 decades back and that is - corporate reputation should be at the heart of driving competitiveness for organisations. As we focus on driving reputation management for our clients, I am excited that Prabhat comes on board to drive this agenda forward”.
