The first-of-its-kind family game show in the region will be launching on March 8
Riding high on the back of its many category-first initiatives and offerings, BIG Ganga continues to rule the roost in Bihar, Jharkhand and Purvanchal markets. Forever curating offerings that engage and entertain audiences, the channel presents yet another offering Muraitha Maidan, a one-of-its-kind game show in the category, that has led to excitement levels amongst eager and ardent audiences rising with every passing day. With the announcement of the hour-long family offering, to be hosted by Bhojpuri icon Rahul Singh every Monday to Wednesday at 7:00 PM starting 8th March, allowing families and to participate on-ground as well as present viewers the chance to win exciting prizes, BIG Ganga has received an unprecedented number of entries from viewers across the region. Seeing the ever-increasing amount of families wanting to be a part of the show, BIG Ganga has once again seen one of its offering make all the right noises well before its launch.
In addition to the abundance of excitement that the show is set to present, the audition process, too, was filled with fun as families show their wit, intelligence and humour. Families in full strength participated and once selected, a family of three (male, female and kid) will begin their journey on the fascinating offering. The show will see the anchor introduce two families in true Bhojpuriya style through the ‘Swagat Dwar’, while celebrating the tradition of Chumavan with Sil and Lodha. Participants will then enter with Muraitha, which is a symbol of pride.
Divided into a host of rounds, the very first one titled Chor Sipahi is for kids where the winner gets the chance to win INR 2100 to 10,000 cash whereas the Kattam Kuttam and Khela Pacchisi rounds cater to women and men respectively and give the opportunity to the winner to take home a cash prize of INR 10K. Kuber Gagri is another round which can be played by the entire family together as they show just how good a team they are as they look to win an INR 20,000 cash prize.
Every show winner will get Maur that will be given to the family member who contributes the maximum amount. In addition to that a weekly winner will get Maur on their head while the show winner will be gratified with Simaur. Spanning over eight weeks, the show will have weekly winners who, along with Winner A and B, will battle in the semi-finale taking place in 2 parts. This will be followed by the finale week where the semi-finalists will be seen going head-to-head along with the pre-finale celebration taking place to entertain the audience. Upping the entertainment quotient, the game show will give chance to participants to win exciting prizes. Making the show more exciting, the trio Manoj Tiger along with two kids and Bhojpuri favourite dwarves Ae Ji and Oo Ji, will be the star entertainers on the show.
