ZEE5 emerges as the most trusted OTT brand in TRA's Brand Trust Report 2020

India’s Entertainment Super-app attains an All India Rank of 108 among 8000 unique brands

ZEE5, India’s largest ConTech brand, has been declared as the most trusted OTT brand with an All India Rank of 108 as per recently released Brand Trust Report (BTR) 2020 report published by TRA Research, a leading research organization dedicated to brand analytics. BTR 2020 report is a result of a comprehensive primary research conducted on TRA’s proprietary 10-Brand behaviours which make up the Brand Trust Matrix. This year, for the 10th edition of its report that encompasses the top 1000 brands, TRA analysed over 8,000 unique brands and had 1,711 consumer-influencers across 16 cities as respondents.

In its third year, ZEE5 continues to set industry-first benchmarks as a formidable homegrown OTT player. A February 2020 report released by TRA recognizes ZEE5 as India’s Most Desired Video Streaming Brand’. Further, according to App Annie data, in the period between March and August, the platform registered 86% growth in the number of app downloads further fuelling new user growth. The video streaming player was also listed as the ninth most downloaded streaming app worldwide in June 2020.
